Tien
Although Tien is just 5 months old, she has already accomplished a lot. She was born with hip dysplasia, which basically means one of her hip joints did not form properly. Because of this, she has been in a harness brace for 3 months of her short life. Fortunately, she is done with her treatment and all is well. Through it all she has had a sunny personality and is always smiling. She loves to be around people and among her accomplishments, she has made everyone who has ever met her smile back at her, even the grouchy people. Her name means "Angel" in Vietnamese and she definitely lives up to her name and her title, "Baby Miss Angelic Queen of America"!

I am so glad to be the new Adorable Miss Angelic America 2008/09 Queen. It all started when I was four and started pageants. I never knew pageants were so fun! I have been so close to the crown and hear I am with one. My name is Savannah Parks. I am nine and going to fourth grade. I live in Hawthorne California. I have been through a lot and one of them is pageants. I am an honor roll student. I also have been first and second runner-up in pageants. I love art because of all of the colors that I can use. I love animals and I have two cats. My ambition is to heal the world one sick animal at a time. I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up. While tomorrow my dream is to help sick animals, today, my dream is to be the best representative for American girls my age. I wear my new crown proudly. I hope to do volunteering at animal shelters in my city and I have just made an appointment to meet with someone at Centinella Hospital to read to some of the children there. Thank you so much for this incredible opportunity to represent Miss Angelic Queen.

Amanda Cousineau is 26 year old. She lives in Michigan with her husband and their two children. Currently a Stay at Home Mom, she will also be a college student in Fall 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, and volunteer work.
Amanda's greatest personal achievement has been losing 147 pounds without surgery or fad dieting. She hopes to use her story to inspire others who are struggling with their own weight issues.
